The EU might “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it calls “unjustified” visa bans issued by the United States against five European individuals working on combating digital hatred and misinformation, an EU official stated.
EU Officials Decry US Move as ‘Intimidation’
European leaders such as Emmanuel Macron charged Washington of “coercion and intimidation”, following the visa restrictions were placed on figures who have been at the heart of efforts to introduce legislation governing US-based technology firms.
